In my last post, I mentioned that I got two new jobs this year, so today I want to tell you a little bit more about my position with a company called Arbonne. I’m sure some of you have heard of this company, because it becoming more and more popular, but for those of you who haven’t, let me explain.
Arbonne is a company that promotes healthy living inside and out through the use of all natural products. These products range from a skincare line, to various nutrition supplements. All of their products are vegan, gluten free, cruelty free, etc. My role with the company is called an independent consultant, so I get to use these amazing products, and share them with people I know to get them started on living a healthier lifestyle.
Before you click away and assume this is an ad, listen to my story. This is why I got started with Arbonne, and why I’m still here.
About a month and a half ago, a girl I went to high school with posted about making more spending money and working on your own time, so I reacted to her story, not thinking anything of it. The next morning, I had a DM from her asking if I was interested in learning more about this company. First of all, I had never heard of Arbonne. (I literally had no idea what it was). Second, I had a feeling she was going to try and get me to be a rep for a company and I wasn’t really into that kind of thing. I have had people reach out to me about doing campus rep gigs in the past and that was never something I was interested in. But to me, this seemed a little different, so I let her tell me more about it. I decided to give it a shot so I could find a way to earn a little more spending money. I already have two other jobs, so I figured I could use the income I earn from this on something fun.
I decided to step out of my comfort zone. She helped sign me up as an independent consultant, ordered me some products, and I was ready to go. Right off the bat, I was introduced to dozens of people who overloaded me with support and advice. I felt like I already had so many resources under my belt, and I hadn’t even received my products yet!
A few days later, I got my Arbonne box in the mail and I was so excited to see everything I ordered. I’ve been using these products for a little over a month now, and I’ve already seen a difference. I use a skincare product, a hair care product, and a nutrition product, and all three have significant differences. This is the main reason I decided to stay with the company. If I have seen improvements in my skin, hair, and energy levels, then I want to be able to share my story and these products with people I know and love.
So, from this, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone. Do something you wouldn’t normally do, and see what it brings you. Do something for you. Improve your health, your lifestyle.
